Veterinarian - Graduate Jobs in Perth - October 2026 (0)

Working as a veterinary professional in Perth

Perth's veterinary market is smaller than the eastern states' capitals but consistently undersupplied — clinics regularly advertise for vets and nurses for months at a time, which means real negotiating power on salary and rosters. Opportunities span suburban general practice, emergency centres, and rural roles within driving distance of the city.

WA's isolation also means fewer locum relief options for clinics, so permanent candidates who commit locally are highly valued.

New graduate & internship veterinary roles

New-graduate positions and internships offer structured mentoring, graduated caseloads and often study support — the fastest way to build confidence in your first years of practice. Look for listings that specify mentoring arrangements, consultation support and graduate salary progression.
