New Graduate Veterinarian - Full Time

WOODGATE / CHILDERS - MIXED PRACTICE

New graduates welcome. We can offer you the best of both worlds - rural or coastal living!

About Us

Isis Veterinary Services consists of two branches:

• Childers Branch: Our main clinic, purpose built and opened in 2012.
• Woodgate Branch (Satellite): This purpose-built practice (2005) is situated on a 600 acre working cattle property, only 10 minutes from Woodgate Beach.

Isis Veterinary Services is well equipped with diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, ECG, ultrasounds, endoscopes (both flexi and rigid), electrocautery, in house laboratories and an undercover equine crush. Both branches are computerised with Vision VPM.

Our patients (80% small animals, 10% cattle and 10% equine) and their owners love the friendly relaxed atmosphere along with the quality treatment and individual attention that everyone receives.

The Position

We are seeking a new graduate veterinarian to join our friendly relaxed team of 3-4 Vets and 5 Vet Nurses. You will work alongside our experienced veterinarians across both branches.

If you have good communication skills and have a friendly manner with a true love of all animals, then we would like to hear from you.

What We Offer

• Attractive remuneration
• 9 day fortnight
• New graduates are excluded from the 1 in 4 weekends on call roster
• One of the best lifestyles ever - living next to the beach, on acreage, a rural property or in a regional city
• A friendly relaxed team of 3-4 Vets and 5 Vet Nurses
• Support and mentoring from experienced veterinarians from day one

Location

Childers and Woodgate Beach are about 3.0 to 3.5 hours north of Brisbane. Childers is a thriving rural community which offers many attractions including wildlife parks, wineries and local produce.

Woodgate Beach is a very popular place, not only to live but also for holiday makers. This sleepy seaside town offers 18kms of pristine white sandy beach and is surrounded by 23,100ha of National Park with walking trails and campsites.

Both locations are situated 30 minutes from Bundaberg and the Coral Coast, and 45 minutes to Hervey Bay and Fraser Island.
