Veterinary nurse roles
Veterinary nursing is the backbone of every Australian clinic. Roles range from entry-level animal attendant and trainee positions through to senior nurses, surgical nurses and head nurse/team-lead roles. Qualifications (usually a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing) affect pay bands, and demand is consistently strongest for nurses with surgical, emergency or hospital experience.
