About Us

Seaford Veterinary Hospital has been caring for local pets and their families for over 35 years. We're a close-knit, experienced team who genuinely enjoy working together and take pride in the relationships we've built with our clients and community.

Our hospital is well-equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated operating theatre and separate cat and dog wards, allowing us to provide a high standard of care across a varied small animal caseload.

Located in beautiful beachside Seaford, we're just a short drive from the Mornington Peninsula, with plenty of great beaches, cafés and coastal walks to enjoy on your days off.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Veterinarian to join us on a permanent part-time basis, with a roster that offers a great balance between work and personal commitments.

• Roster: Thursdays, 8am–6pm, plus one Saturday per month
• Hours: Minimum 20 hours per fortnight, with additional roster arrangements to be discussed
• Caseload: Varied small animal general practice, including consulting and surgery
• Consulting-only option: We're also happy to accommodate a Vet who prefers consulting
• No after-hours or on-call requirements
• Competitive remuneration: Based on experience

You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients, enjoy a varied caseload and work alongside a team who are always happy to support one another.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, genuinely cares about their patients and takes pride in providing great veterinary care.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A BVSc or equivalent qualification and eligibility for veterinary registration in Victoria
• At least one year of experience in small animal general practice
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• A collaborative, flexible approach and a commitment to quality patient care
• Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will enjoy being part of our team and contribute to the welcoming, supportive environment we've built.
