Veterinarian
Job Description
Good pets. Good people. Good care.
Good Boy Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned, three-veterinarian small animal practice that has been proudly serving our community for just over a year. As our clinic continues to grow, we're looking for a fourth veterinarian to join our close-knit team.
We're passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care in a welcoming environment where both our clients and team members feel supported. If you're looking for a workplace where you are encouraged to challenge yourself, then we would love to hear from you!
About Us
At Good Boy Veterinary Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering practical, down-to-earth veterinary care, working with owners to find the most appropriate treatment options for their pets.
Our team is committed to:
- Providing pragmatic, high-quality veterinary care tailored to each patient.
- Building genuine relationships with our clients and their pets.
- Working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.
- Creating a relaxed, supportive and enjoyable workplace.
- Continuously innovating and adapting our services to best serve our community.
- Using structured systems and technology—including digital anaesthetic records and procedural checklists—to promote patient safety, consistency and high standards of care.
- Offering a range of services under one roof (diagnostic imaging, surgery, chemotherapy, rehab, grooming etc), reducing the need for clients to visit multiple providers.
About the Role
We're looking for a veterinarian who will complement our existing team.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- Be confident with routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
- Be comfortable working up medical cases independently whilst knowing when to collaborate with the team and referral centres.
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit and supportive team.
- Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- An interest or experience in ultrasonography would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
What We Are Offering
- Full-time or part-time position available with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
- A genuinely supportive and collaborative team culture.
- A new, modern, high end clinic with excellent equipment.
- Open communication - always.
- Only registered Cert IV trained nurses
- Veterinarians with MANZCVS in Surgery and Anaesthesia
- Opportunities to develop your clinical interests and help shape the future direction of the clinic.
- Salary package of $120 000 - 140 000
If you're looking for a clinic where you can practice high-quality medicine, work alongside an experienced and supportive team, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day, we'd love to hear from you.
