Allpets Caboolture Animal Hospital is looking for an additional veterinarian to join our busy, long-established, independently owned practice in Caboolture, North Brisbane.

Spring through Summer is traditionally our busiest time of year, and we're looking for another veterinarian to join the team and help us meet the increased demand.

Think snakebite, paralysis ticks, heatstroke and other seasonal emergencies, alongside our already busy general practice caseload.

We have a varied small animal caseload including general medicine, surgery, dentistry, imaging, orthopaedics, emergency cases and avian medicine.

Our modern hospital facilities allow us to investigate and manage a broad range of cases in-house, with established referral pathways when required.

• Full time 38 hour working week on offer – rostered 6 weeks in advance, covering clinic hours 8am to 7pm Mon-Fri and 8am-5pm Sat.
• Saturday roster generally 1:4, with the option to increase Saturdays if desired
• Annual CPD allowance in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Award
• Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience, qualifications and clinical skills
• Experienced veterinary and nursing team
• Varied and interesting caseload
• Modern diagnostic and surgical facilities – dual surgical suites, dedicate wet/dental room, ultrasound/endoscopy, digital radiography, intraoral dental radiography
• In-house Heska pathology, Blood gas (EPOC), Coagulation
• RxWorks practice management software
• Opportunity to develop areas of special interest is always encouraged
• Supportive environment with plenty of opportunity to discuss cases and develop your skills

We place a strong emphasis on continuity of patient care. Clients can request and book appointments with a specific veterinarian, particularly for revisit and ongoing cases.

Our vets have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with their patients and clients and follow cases through from diagnosis to recovery.

Who are we looking for?

We are open to veterinarians at different stages of their careers. Experience is preferred, but we're particularly interested in finding the right person for our team.
