The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Veterinarian to join our Belmont team, working approximately 2–3 days per week.
This position would suit a veterinarian looking for a predictable part-time roster, while still having the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and patients and become an important part of an established team.
Roster
The current roster includes:
- Mondays: 10:30am – 6:30pm
- Fridays: 9:00am – 5:00pm or 10:00am – 6:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm (approximately 1 in 3)
- Additional leave coverage as required
Our clinic is continuing to grow, and with that growth comes the potential for this role to expand over time. We can discuss roster flexibility with the successful applicant.
About you
We are looking for a veterinarian who is:
- Efficient, organised and able to manage their time well
- A confident and effective communicator
- Proactive and willing to contribute to the wider team
- Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
- Great at building rapport and trust with our clients
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent degree recognised in Australia
- Veterinary registration in Victoria
- Experience in small animal practice
- Confidence in general consultations and routine case management
- Experience with surgical and dental procedures is preferred
- A collaborative approach and ability to work positively within a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with our clients
- A genuine desire to continue learning and developing your veterinary career
