Veterinarian

Veterinarian | VetWest Armadale/Byford | Perth, WA

Meaningful connections. Interesting cases. Room to build your next chapter.

Picture starting your morning with a patient to assess, a case to talk through and a client looking to you for reassurance. Later, you’re in surgery, following up a treatment plan or sharing a clinical insight with a colleague.

At VetWest Armadale/Byford, you’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships while staying hands-on in the medicine you enjoy.

If you value variety, teamwork and opportunities to keep learning, this could be your next move.

🐾 Become a familiar face

There’s something rewarding about getting to know your patients and the people who care for them.

You’ll build trust through thoughtful care, clear communication and following cases through—from the first consultation to treatment and recovery. Alongside your veterinary and nursing colleagues, you’ll bring your experience, ideas and clinical interests to the day-to-day life of the clinic.

🩺 Keep doing the work you love

Your role will combine consulting, medical case management and surgery, with room to:

• Deliver high-quality care across a varied general practice caseload.

• Build lasting relationships with pets and their people.

• Collaborate with veterinary and nursing colleagues.

• Share your knowledge and contribute ideas.

• Continue developing your clinical interests.

🌱 A wider community behind you

As part of VetPartners, you’ll have access to experienced veterinary professionals across the network, with opportunities to learn, collaborate and explore your career goals.

Your development will be supported by:

• $2,000 annual CPD allowance.

• One week of study leave.

• Free courses and workshops through our Veterinary Training Centres.

• Connections with experienced clinical colleagues across the wider network.

🌿 Your next chapter in Perth’s south-east

With foothills, outdoor spaces and local communities to explore, Perth’s south-east offers plenty to enjoy beyond the clinic.

It’s an opportunity to think about the life you want alongside the career you’re building.

🤝 Could you see yourself here?

You’re a general practice vet who enjoys consulting and surgery, communicates warmly and values the contribution of every team member.

You’ll hold a recognised veterinary qualification and be registered, or eligible for registration, in Western Australia.

Let’s talk about how this role could fit your next chapter.
