Job Description
Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian | Small Friends Veterinary Hospital
About Us
Small Friends Veterinary Hospital is a well-established small animal practice in Amaroo, ACT. The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join our friendly and dedicated team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are quite the same, with a great mix of consulting, surgery and the occasional curveball! Your day might include routine vaccinations, wellness and sick-patient consults, the occasional emergency or walk-in, as well as dentals, routine procedures, soft tissue surgery, exploratory laparotomies and cystotomies. Consults generally run from 8:00–10:30am and 3:00–6:00pm, with surgery and procedures scheduled around these times. While we primarily operate on an appointment-based system, we occasionally manage emergencies and walk-in patients, so strong triage and patient care skills are highly valued.
