East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our busy, well-established small animal hospital. We're ideally seeking someone full-time, however part-time may be considered for the right person.

About Us

East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital is a busy, well-equipped small animal hospital with a varied medical and surgical caseload. With facilities including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house pathology, you'll have plenty of opportunities to utilise and develop your clinical skills alongside an experienced veterinary team.

About the Role

You'll enjoy a hands-on, varied nursing role involving surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consultations, patient care and supporting our veterinarians.

Our Roster:

• Rotating Monday–Friday shifts: 7:30am–3:30pm, 10am–6pm or 11:30am–7:30pm.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8am–3:30pm.

As you'll be the sole nurse on rostered Saturdays, we're looking for someone confident working independently and managing their nursing responsibilities.

About You

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum 12 months' practical nursing experience.
• Confident in small animal handling, surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring.
• Comfortable working independently during Saturday shifts.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and passion for providing excellent patient care.
