Sterilisation Technician

We are seeking a Sterilisation Technician to join our North Ryde hospital. In this position you’ll assist our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and the best quality care to our patients. This part-time position requires availability on Wednesday and Thursday with an additional third day we're flexible to support.

What Your Day May Include:

• Operation of steam autoclaves, H2O2 and/or EtO sterilisers
• Decontamination, disinfection, and cleaning of surgical instruments and equipment
• Handling and disposal of infectious waste
• Function-testing surgical equipment
• Performing quality-assurance testing to ensure sterility
• Maintenance of sterile instrumentation inventory

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Enrolled in Certificate III Sterilisation Services
• Experience in a veterinary setting (desirable)
