Small Animal Veterinarian New Grad Friendly

Looking for a change? Come and join us at The Neighbourhood Vet in Tewantin!

We are a small, independently owned veterinary clinic just minutes from Noosa. We are expanding and looking for a great vet to join our team.

We're a friendly, close-knit bunch who enjoy what we do, care about our patients and genuinely like working together. We take pride in providing quality veterinary care while maintaining the personal relationships with clients that make working in a local, private practice so rewarding.

A bit about us

The Neighbourhood Vet is a modern, well-equipped small animal clinic with a lovely, loyal and growing client base.

We're independently owned, which means we have the flexibility to do things our own way, with a focus on great patient care and building lasting relationships with our clients.

We're a busy little clinic, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We work hard, have a laugh and help each other out when things get busy.

Who we're looking for

• A veterinarian registered (or eligible for registration) in Queensland
• Someone who genuinely enjoys small animal practice and has a willingness to be part of a team, bringing enthusiasm and fun to their daily work life
• An interest in developing their medical and surgical skills
• A friendly, practical approach with the ability to develop trust and communicate effectively with our clients.

We're open to vets at different stages of their careers. Whether you're a relatively recent graduate looking for mentoring or an experienced vet wanting a change, we'd love to hear from you.

What we can offer

• A friendly, supportive team with experienced veterinary nurses
• Mentoring and support from an experienced vet who's always happy to discuss cases and share her knowledge
• A modern, well-equipped clinic with a lovely, loyal client base
• Flexible working days and hours, with no after-hours work, and closed on public holidays
• Competitive remuneration based on experience
• A fantastic location just minutes from Noosa's beaches, river and hinterland

Why join us?

We're not a big corporate clinic, and we like it that way.

You'll have the opportunity to become an important part of a growing practice, develop your own client relationships and have a real say in how things are done.

Most importantly, we want someone who enjoys coming to work, can work well within a team and brings their own "little bits of quirkiness" to our fabulous growing clinic.
