Small Animal Veterinarian

Pimpama Pet Vet on the sunny north Gold Coast is looking for a casual vet for negotiable weekday hours that include being rostered in on a currently 1 in 3 Saturday am roster. Come join in on the warm dynamic GC lifestyle, with a range of beach and mountain recreational options on our doorstep. Pimpama has easy access to both Brisbane and Gold Coast night lifestyles, and is easily commutable if living in Southern suburbs of Brisbane and central and northern GC.

We are modern neat small animal practice with all the mod cons including digital xray with dental xray, Idexx blood and urine machine range, 2 ultrasound machines etc.

We offer experienced vet backup and support with experienced nurses. Sole charge periods will be required.

We are looking for a vet with at least 2 years experience who has a defined patient advocacy focus with a diagnostic and surgical drive.

The right candidate should have a positive attitude and sense of humour and be able to work in a team at times.

Although the position is casual the shifts will be regular and the potential for a permanent position is an option for the appropriate candidate after a period of time.

We are prepared to wait for the right candidate so start dates are negotiable. Remuneration is at generous casual rates ($85/hr) and will be adjusted to experience and candidate.

Hours can be adjusted to a school mum's schedule, as far as we possibly can.
