SASH Alexandria is a purpose-built veterinary referral hospital, located near Sydney’s CBD, providing 24/7 multidisciplinary care to the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Southern Suburbs of Sydney. 
 
We're now seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse to join us in a Permanent Part Time capacity, working 3 days per week.  
  
This role will primarily support our Internal Medicine team while also providing exposure to our Oncology service, offering a unique opportunity to broaden your clinical skills within a supportive environment.  Working closely with our Internal Medicine and Oncology teams, you'll support patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey while learning from a highly experienced team of specialists and nurses.  
 
Who are we looking for? 

• A keen interest in Internal Medicine and Oncology, and a desire to work closely with patients throughout their entire SASH journey 
• Previous Oncology and Anaesthesia experience is welcomed but not essential, with training and support provided to help you develop your skills in these areas 
• Experience with supporting medicine specialists with endoscopy procedures, advanced imaging and facilitating clinical procedures 
• Confidence to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as you will be speaking with clients 

To be considered for this position, applicants MUST have: 

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 
• A minimum of 2 years full-time experience working as a qualified Vet Nurse
