Full Time or Casual Veterinarian New Grad Friendly

Looking for a veterinary job where you'll be supported, appreciated, and still have a life outside of work? You might have just found it.

Our friendly clinic in beautiful Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast is looking for a veterinarian to join our team. We would ideally love someone with 1–2 years' experience, but new graduates are absolutely welcome – if you're enthusiastic and keen to learn, we'd love to meet you.

About Our Clinic

We are primarily a small animal practice with a relaxed and supportive team of vets and nurses. Three of our vets focus on small animals, while our Principal Vet also treats horses and other large animals around the area.

Large animal experience is not required, but if you've ever wanted to expand your skills beyond cats and dogs, there is an opportunity to learn.

Our clinic is well equipped to help you provide great care, including:

• Digital imaging
• Ultrasonography
• Dentistry
• In-house laboratory (Idexx Catalyst)
• Advanced surgery including orthopaedics

We see a great variety of cases, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and develop your skills.

About You

You might be the perfect fit if you:

• Love animals (obviously)
• Enjoy learning and improving your veterinary skills
• Work well as part of a supportive team
• Communicate well with clients
• Can stay organised on busy days
• Care deeply about patient wellbeing
• Have a friendly attitude and good sense of humour
• Don't mind the occasional enthusiastic Labrador greeting

What We Offer

• A supportive, genuinely friendly team
• A varied and interesting caseload
• Full-time or casual options
• Some shared Saturday morning shifts
• A workplace that values work–life balance
• A beautiful Sunshine Coast lifestyle

We aim to create a positive workplace where people enjoy coming to work (and where the team occasionally debates who gets to cuddle the clinic puppy first).

How to Apply

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we'd love to hear from you.
