We’re inviting applications from experienced veterinary nurses to join our REDVET team. With a brand new, state of the art hospital opening in 2027 and exciting plans for the future, it’s a great time to become part of our next chapter.

Redlands Veterinary Clinic is a family-owned practice in Thornlands, Queensland, caring for the Redlands community for over 45 years. We aim to provide gold standard care, supported by experienced vets, hands on management and involved coordinators who value the contribution of our nurses.

A role shaped around your interests

We know that nurses bring different strengths and enjoy different aspects of practice. There is scope to shape this role around your experience and interests, with opportunities across:

• Surgical nursing and anaesthesia.
• Hospital nursing and patient care.
• Consult nursing.
• Reception and client care, if this interests you.
• A combination of these areas for those who enjoy variety.

Whether you have a particular area you love or prefer a mix, we’re happy to discuss what could work for you and the clinic.

Hours and availability

We’re particularly interested in hearing from nurses who enjoy afternoon and evening shifts, ideally 12 pm–8 pm, although we’re open to discussing flexibility.

Part time and casual arrangements are available, with the potential for additional hours or a full time position for the right person.

One weekend day per month is required, with more weekend work available if preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with evening and/or weekend availability.

You’re an experienced veterinary nurse who takes pride in attentive patient care, communicates clearly and works well within a busy team. You’re confident in your areas of experience, keen to keep learning and ready to contribute to a positive workplace.
