Experienced Mixed Practice Veterinary Surgeon Visa Sponsor
Job Description
Permanent Position – South Gippsland, Victoria Australia
Yarram Veterinary Centre has positions available for experienced Veterinary Surgeons, recognized by the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council, interested in contributing to a busy South Gippsland mixed practice.
The practice has serviced the district for more than 50 years and under new ownership since 2019, has expanded services together with a recent relocation to a new expansive clinic.
We operate a true 50/50 (large animal/small animal) practice Monday to Saturday but also provide 24/7 emergency service.
Being in a rural area, your patient load would not only include general small animal species but also exotics. On the large animal side, our primary industries are dairy, beef, sheep and general equine, therefore knowledge of farm management practices particularly in the dairy industry and other livestock production systems would be an advantage.
You would be employed under the Animal and Veterinary Services Award [MA000118], (salary range $71,300 to $95,593), commensurate with your experience. Any additional skills, expertise or contribution would be recognized and rewarded.
We provide flexible working arrangements to all our staff, however there will be an expectation of afterhours rosters for the successful candidates.
Candidates eligible for Specific Registration under the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria, ready for immediate start, would also be considered.
If you are looking for a true mixed practice role and ready to commit to providing a meaningful contribution, your Expression of Interest should be forwarded to tonystuart@bigpond.com
Visa sponsorship is available for vets whose qualifications are recognised in Australia
