Experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse. We hope to find a kind, hard-working nurse who is interested in both animals and their owners.

Wynnum Bayside is a busy small-animal practice, privately-owned on Brisbane's beautiful bayside. Our surgery has been servicing the Wynnum/Manly area for over thirty years and is proud of its history within the local community. We have developed a practice ethos based on providing honest, quality professional care in a friendly and nurturing environment. Our close-knit team offers an enjoyable environment valuing collaboration and support.

Wynnum Bayside Veterinary Surgery offers opportunities in all aspects of veterinary practice and encourages participation in all facets – reception, dentistry, surgery, radiographs, in-house pathology, hospital care and client relationships. Practice facilities include IDEXX machines, digital radiographs, ultrasound, digital dental radiographs and a separate surgical suite.

THE POSITION

• Qualification – minimum Cert IV, experience preferred
• The position – Full-Time 38hr week with flexible opportunities
• We offer three shifts –
  • Early 7.30am to 4.30/5.30pm
  • Late 9.00/9.30am to 6.30pm
  • Saturday 7.45 to 12.30pm
• One full day off per week
• One in three Saturday roster
• Above Award salary
