The Opportunity 

We are looking for a Veterinarian to join our team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility for the position to become permanent following the fixed-term period. 

This is a small animal role, with the position primarily focused on consulting. There may also be occasional opportunities to get involved in procedures, depending on your interests and the needs of the practice. Large animal work is occasionally available if desired, but not essential to this role. 

Your roster will be: 

• Monday: 8:30am – 6:00pm (8.5 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break) 
• Wednesday: 8:30am – 6:00pm (8.5 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break) 
• Every second Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm if desired (5 hours, no lunch break) 
• Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (4 hours, no lunch break) 
• No on-call or after-hours work 

To be successful in this position, you will have: 

• A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and current registration to practise in Australia. 
• 3+ years' experience as a Veterinarian 
• Willingness to consult, with the flexibility to assist with procedures when required.
